Entrata’s Natalie Birell And Krista Pappas Recognized As Women Tech Awards Finalists

Birell and Pappas honored for their leadership and commitment to championing women in the tech industry

LEHI, Utah – September 22, 2022 – Entrata, the multifamily industry’s leading operating system, has announced that Senior Vice President of Engineering, Natalie Birell and Senior Vice President of IT, Krista Pappas have been recognized as finalists for this year’s Women Tech Awards by the Women Tech Council. The Women Tech Awards recognizes the talent, impact, change-agents, innovators and women in technology that work tirelessly to build companies, communities and careers.

“Natalie and Krista are incredible leaders and instrumental to the success of our team and business. This recognition is beyond deserved,” said Jason Taylor, Chief Technology Officer at Entrata. “The leadership, innovative thinking and expertise they bring to Entrata has played a critical role in shaping our technology and ensuring that we provide the best possible products for our clients.”

Birell is a 20 year veteran of the technology industry and has led software engineering and product management teams at companies ranging from start-ups to multi-billion dollar, multinational organizations. Outside of her professional roles, Birell has used her personal experience and leadership to champion women and girls looking to find their place in a traditionally male-dominated industry, and is currently an Advisory Board Member for Women Tech Council and a member of the Women United Executive Council for the United Way of Salt Lake.

Pappas has built over nine different technical business functions from the ground up over the past 10 years across four different SaaS companies — scaling multiple companies who previously struggled with aligning their business strategy and their technical application delivery. She has also used her leadership position to foster diversity and equity across her technical teams. Pappas has been successful in maintaining a 50% diversity goal within her teams by coaching and mentoring underrepresented groups in the technology space.

The Women Tech Council recognized Birell, Pappas and other honorees at an awards ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 22, 2022.
